Tree Clearance, Bramble Removal and Japanese Knotweed Removal.

Techniques:

We were instructed by our client to carry out some tree clearance works, bramble clearance and Japanese Knotweed removal in the Wales area – Aberdare.

We removed all trees using a combination of tree shear attachments and the bucket of a 21T excavator for tree stumps. The material was loaded into a whole tree shredder so the shredded material is spread across the site. This provided solid ground for vehicle access.

A 5T excavator was used, with a flail attachment to clear the above ground vegetation, clearing all areas of bramble etc.

Japanese Knotweed Screening – All Japanese Knotweed soils were excavated and stockpiled next to the screener area for screening using a 3 way screener to remove Japanese Knotweed from the soils.

The Japanese Knotweed once screened was transported to a hazardous waste incinerator under EPA 1990 duty of care guidelines, this material will then be incinerated using waste to energy technology.
