Knotweed Services UK (Ltd) were contacted by our client to carry out a survey at a residential property in the Hitchin area, to survey the extent of Japanese Knotweed present in the rear garden on the subject property and neighbouring property’s.
Our technician recommend that we excavated using small plant machinery and place a biosecurity barrier between the subject property and the neighbouring property. We will then manually screen the soils using a small electric powered trommel screener to remove all traces of knotweed rhizomes and material, we will then place the rhizomes and material in secure dumping bags for onward transportation to a licensed landfill transfer station under EPA 1990 Duty of Care Guidelines. The cleaned soils can then be reinstated in the voids.
