As part of our commitment to client peace of mind we are able to offer an insurance backed warranty on all sites*, aimed specifically at covering any costs that could be incurred should re-growth occur. Each policy is individually tailored to our client\’s site and the level of cover required.

Where a claim is accepted under the terms of the policy, the cost of treating the Knotweed to eradicate it, will also be included in admissible claims costs.
In the event that the property is sold the policy may only be assigned following an inspection by a “Knotweed Services UK” and payment of a fee. Following a request to carry out a survey, the area identified as the survey boundary then becomes the responsibility of Knotweed Services UK Limited. Any recurrence of Japanese Knotweed within the site boundary will be covered by the warranty document which allows for any eradication works to be carried out at no additional cost to the client.
Warranty includes quarterly inspection during the first twelve months after completion, followed by an annual site visit and report. This level of warranty follows in-depth research by our insurers as to our methods and our results to date.

If you are trying to sell your property and your surveyor finds Japanese Knotweed on their initial report you are sure to run into problems. The process may be delayed or cancelled all together.
