Spring, Summer and the start of Autumn was a very busy perioid here at Knotweed Services UK – I don’t know where we get the time to keep publishing news stories! As our busy season draws to a close (Japanese knotweed lays dormant in the winter), we will be bringing you more and more stories from the summer, spring and Autumn, we will try and bring you galleries.
This particular customer was from Lichfield. A lovely couple with 2 children and their pet dog. Initially, the Japanese knotweed was bought to their attention by their dog Rosco – who kept digging around that area (purely coincidental). After ignoring it through much of Spring by the time Summer came around – they realised the plant was almost 5 foot taller. Ensue panic and frantic searching on the internet with doomsday stories a plenty along with the grief of believeing it was going to cost them a small fortune for treatment.
After reading stories and DIY guides they come back to our website and decided upon getting a free quote for our Japanese knotweed removal Lichfield services.
Here’s part of the email:
“PLEASE HELP! I know there is knotweed in the back garden of our property in Lichfield (I have attached pictures), I have foolishly ignored the plant for the last 4 months, to wake up this morning (so it seems) to a plant that is now taller than me. There is also rubble that needs removal in order to get to the infestation. I would like an estimate for the safe removal. Anxiously awaiting your response.”

The reason we can keep costs down in comparison to other Japanese knotweed removal Lichfield companies is because we provide a uniqie “pay per treatment” schedule. This means you just pay per treatment – for example, we may have to treat your knotweed yearly over Two To Five years. This would mean you pay per treatment, each year. We can also put a management plan in place, this will keep you from being fined and could also help you sell your house.
We operate our Japanese knotweed removal Lichfield services in this way, to ensure our customer have no HUGE fees to pay upfront (unlike all other Japanese knotweed companies). The treatment required for this Japanese knotweed infestation, was stem injection. Stem injection is one of many treatment methods that we employ, we use a number of factors to assist us in deciding what treatment methods to employ.
