Knotweed Services (UK) Ltd were instructed to complete a Japanese knotweed Dig and dump at a property in Malvern, worcestershire. The site consisted of a large detached residential property.
The Japanese Knotweed was visible surrounding the rear wall of the property. The main consideration in treating the Japanese knotweed on site was the footprint for the new landscaping, as there were no locations for either a cell burial or stockpile and treat, an excavation and off-site disposal method was the recommended method of remediation
As part of the excavation and waste management process, CAT scanning was conducted to identify any underground services near the work area, ensuring that the excavation did not disrupt existing utilities. Once the site was thoroughly assessed, the Japanese Knotweed and contaminated soil were safely excavated.
The waste was transported to a licensed landfill site for disposal, in full compliance with EPA 1990 Duty of Care guidelines. A thorough soil analysis was performed to determine the most appropriate disposal location, ensuring environmental safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Well done to everyone involved for getting this job completed within timeframe and budget
