We were instructed by our client to complete a Dig and Dump to remove all Japanese knotweed located on a small bank between a school and development land.
Our technicians carefully cleared the bramble around the knotweed and kept this separate away from the knotweed to ensure that none of the bramble would go into the wagons. They then had to remove a small brick wall in front of the knotweed before digging out the knotweed. The Japanese knotweed and contaminated soils were then loaded directly onto the wagons and sent on to be disposed of as controlled waste to a licensed landfill under EPA 1990 Duty of care guidelines.
We are pleased to report the work was successfully carried out within the designated timeframe (5 days) and budget.
Well done to our excellent team for carrying out a brilliant job as always!
