Background
We were instructed by our client to attend a residential property in the East London area to carry out Japanese knotweed removal. Our client had advised us that they are currently landscaping the garden.
Japanese Knotweed was identified within the boundaries of the property and on the neighboring property.
Our client expressed that they wished to fully excavate the Japanese knotweed due to the works they have planned, so a 5-year herbicide treatment plan wouldn’t meet their needs.
Plant machinery would excavate the soils, which would then be screened and refilled once the root barrier was installed. This would require two technicians, plant machinery, and an operative for five days. A root barrier would need to be put in place to stop any regrowth from the neighbouring property.
Works Completed
We are pleased to report the successful execution of all planned activities, which were completed to the required standards within the designated timeframe and budget.
While completing the works, our technicians found that the garden wall separating neighboring properties was in an unsafe condition. Under the instruction of our client, we removed this separating wall in preparation for it to be rebuilt.
The client was able to proceed with their landscaping work seamlessly alongside our technicians’ efforts, leading to a mutually successful outcome.
Congratulations to the entire team for a job well done!
