Dig and Dump in London

Location:

London

Techniques:

The Knotweed Services (UK) Ltd team have recently carried out a Dig and Dump to remove all Japanese knotweed from a residential property in London in preparation for a future extension.

Our client expressed that they wished to fully excavate the Japanese knotweed and backfill soils to be placed on site. We also installed a root barrier to prevent any regrowth from any potential neighbouring property areas.

The Dig and Dump method involves the excavation of all Japanese knotweed to be disposed of as controlled waste to licensed landfill under EPA 1990 Duty of care guidelines. This involved 2 technicians, plant machinery and operative for approx. 5 days.

We are pleased to report the successful execution of all planned activities, which were completed to the required standards within the designated timeframe and budget.

The client was extremely happy about the works completed and can now successfully proceed with the extension in the future.

Congratulations to the team for a job well done!
