Knotweed Services (UK) Limited were instructed by our client to remove Buddleia that had grown out of a wall at a car park in the West Midlands.
Although Buddleia is appealing to pollinators, it can cause significant damage to buildings if not managed. Buddleia’s roots can grow into cracks and weaken walls, resulting in instability and potential collapse, especially in older buildings. Additionally, it can obstruct gutters and drains, leading to water damage and dampness issues.
Using a Cherry Picker, our operatives used bladed tools to cut the Buddleia back. The cuttings were then collected into heavy duty sacks and disposed of at an approved landfill by a licensed waste carrier. This job was completed in 1 day safely and responsibly.
Check out the photos – great job guys!!!
