Can you believe this weather in February?
Typically, we wouldn’t see the growth of Japanese Knotweed until sometime in late March/April (last year it was May-due to the pro-longed cold winter) but this year the growing season will now certainly be underway in February due to the first days of beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures.
Japanese Knotweed grows at an alarming rate and last year (2018) we decided to document the growth of one particular infestation to demonstrate just how quickly Japanese Knotweed grows. You’ll notice that in the first stages of growth, Japanese Knotweed looks like asparagus!
